Renewable Futures is South West England's biggest renewable energy conference.
Renewable Futures 2008: Stepping up a gear, will be held on the 26 November 2008 at the Bristol City Centre Marriott hotel. The conference and exhibition will bring together a diverse range of individuals and organisations with interests in the south west sustainable energy sector. The programme will address topical issues, and in particular it will focus on how the south west can meet that the challenges that will arise from the UK’s 2020 renewables targets.
Among the high profile speakers will be Kevin McCullough, chief operating officer at RWE Innogy, the RWE management company for renewables, and Colin Hood, chief operating officer at Scottish and Southern Energy. There will be individual workshops on offshore wind, district heating, low-carbon housing, energy efficiency, the microgeneration market, marine renewables, biomass power, and merchant wind.

EXHIBITION STANDS
There will be 21 exhibition ‘pods’ available in the main networking areas (the corridor outside of the main plenary area and in the main breakout area where refreshments will be served. Each stand will cost £480+VAT for members and £580+VAT for non-members, and INCLUDES TWO DELEGATE PLACES.
The price will include a fully branded ‘pod’, which will have:
• a variety of graphics
• a work top with monitor stand and flat screen monitor
• two chairs
• a base unit
• plug socket/power
